The men's and women's top seeds, who played on May 23, faltered badly, and none of them were able to make it to the final main draw and crashed out of the French Open 2025, the second Grand Slam of the year.
However, there is still a lot of joy, as few players have made it to the main draw. We have seen players like Alexander Eala and Eva Lys make it to the main draws and then reach the quarters and semis with their stellar performances. We can expect the same this time as well.
Among the most notable of the qualifiers were Victoria Mboko and Ethan Qunin, who have been performing well on the recent WTA tours. Mboko once had stellar performances in the Miami Open and Italian Open.
These qualifier players are set to face top WTA and ATP stars in the first few rounds. However, if they manage to defeat them, they will be history-makers here and bolster their rankings for the rest of the tours. The tennis tournaments have witnessed even the lucky loser making it to the semifinals and finals of the tournament.
All eyes must be set on these players who had performed exceptionally well in the qualifiers and made it to the main tournament, where they are set to face the stern competition. They will be tested here, but if they manage to defeat top players, they will be making audacious headlines in such a prestigious tournament.
