Some of the top stars in the WTA are currently on vacation after a long season where they have been featured in a lot of tournaments. The Korea Open was the next tournament which will feature some talented players, but has seen some of the big stars withdraw from the game completely. One of the players who we all were looking forward to in this upcoming WTA 500 tournament was Iga Swiatek, who has unfortunately withdrawn from the contest due to fatigue.

There is no doubt that Iga Swiatek has had another great season this year with 5 titles to her name which also includes her 3rd consecutive French Open title and 4th one overall and is still the WTA World number one. However the backend of the season did not see her having disastrous tournaments but did see glimpses of underpar performances in some matches.

There is no doubt that this has still been an incredible season for Swiatek, but she did have some playoff games where she faced a lot of criticism from people. The matches that come to mind are the Paris Olympics semi final loss to Zheng and US Open quarter finals defeat to Jessica Pegula. In fact even her Sports Psychologist Daria Abramowicz has made some huge claims on her mental health saying that the World number one is suffering from burnout syndrome and is overloaded. With these claims she has also revealed that this could not only affect her performances but also push her towards depression.

These are some of the boldest claims made by Abramowicz on the WTA World number 1 which could lead to a lot of specualtions all over the tennis world. Though the last two tournaments the Polish superstar had featured in were slightly underwhelming, the fans will still hope she can come back from these losses in the upcoming tournaments.
