'I don't feel like an alien'- Roger Federer

Talking about his life after retirement Roger says, “I’m happy I went back right away to some tournaments. I feel I ripped the Band-Aid off quite quickly and when I walk around the tennis sites I still feel I belong there.” Roger Federer says, “I don't feel like an alien, Which is a good thing because you can feel like that very quickly. People (and) Players ask you ‘What are you doing here?’ and your like ‘Exactly – if you keep talking like this, I will never come back’.”

The tennis legend also praised the world number 1 Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz for their achievements in tennis. He also spoke about his co-stars during his playing time Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic. Both these tennis legends are not playing the Laver Cup Tournament this year.

He said, “With Rafa, we don't know- it remains to be seen. It's hard for me to make a prediction on Rafa because of the little tennis he has played this year. Novak, winning the Olympics and playing somewhat let's say a full season– he didn't bow out because of injuries, he chose to play less which is normal when you get a bit older."

Roger federer is out of prediction for Rafael Nadal and his tennis career. He predicted Novak to be one of the favorites along with Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz for next year's Australian Open tournament. The Australian Open is one of the four grand slams. It will happen at the start of the new year. The 2025 Australian tournament will be from 6 January to 26 January.
