Tennis star Aryna Sabalenka has revealed that she forgot to showcase her gratitude towards the DJ in her Mutua Madrid Open post-match winning speech during a candid conversation with her team. The star player was cycling in the gym in the Spanish capital, Madrid, where she admitted that she forgot to thank the tournament DJ team.

The Belarusian stated that she was pumped up many times after vibrant and energetic music in her matches. Notably, the DJ seems to have become the fan favourite here, energising the Madrid Open crowd between players' matches and during the post-match celebration.

The tennis player also showcased her gratitude towards her team after winning the title. The clip of Sabalenka sharing her candid talks with the team showcases their strong bond and friendship off the court. The 27-year-old star's victory wasn't just about her celebration with her team, but it's about the hard work and determination Sabalenka's team possesses in every WTA tour.

Meanwhile, Aryna Sabalenka is the Mutua Madrid Open champion. She has defeated Coco Gauff in straight sets to mark a stellar win. She has registered her third WTA title of this year. The Belarusian has emerged victorious in the Brisbane International and Miami Open 2025 before the Madrid Open. She must be eyeing a French Open 2025 victory after finishing the Australian Open 2025 as the runner-up.

"It’s very important to not only be an attacking player but, in those key moments, to be a good defender and dig really deep in there and try to steal a few points. It definitely brings more confidence in your game. I definitely feel really good about my game. But I think the key for me was that I was always looking for something to improve. And now, still, I want to get better," Aryna Sabalenka said after the win.
