It was Ruud who dominated his pace and gained an advantage over Draper's unforced error to win the decider to claim his first-ever ATP 1000 Masters title in Spanish Capital, Madrid.

Ruud was seen sharing a beautiful and romantic moment with his fiancée Maria Galligani after his stellar win in Madrid. After clinching the trophy, the Norway-born star reunited with his fiancée, who was present in the stands to cheer him. She came yesterday to come and support, and maybe that was the last little push I needed to get over the finish line. I’m really happy, and it’s great I’m surrounded by so many amazing people. I’m a really lucky guy," Ruud said.
