Novak Djokovic remembers Wimbledon 2019

There have been a lot of memorable moments Djokovic has shared with both Djokovic and Roger Federer but one of his most iconic matches was the Wimbledon 2019 final which was one of the intense matches we have ever seen in the game of tennis. The Serbian has recently opened up on that incredible match saying " Given the circumstances, it was one of the most important moments I experienced. I was two match points down and if you look at the match statistics, he played better than me. He won more points. I don’t think I ever broke his serve, except for that moment at the end of the fifth set."

This is one of the most humble answers given by Djokovic who acknowledged that Federer got the better of him in the game but also told us when the game turned on its head as well stating further " I think that’s when he started making mistakes and I hit a very good passing shot on the second match point. And that’s when the match turned around.” This was a inspiring statement which gave us the glimpse of one of the greatest minds in the game.
