World number 1 Jannik Sinner replies to the WADA appeal during a press conference after his China Open match. The fans have also reacted to Sinner's reply in social media. The Italian sensation says he is both surprised and dissapointed after this appeal. The doping case has again surfaced which shook the Italian sensation to the core.
The 2024 season has been a peak season for Jannik Sinner where he has won 6 titles which also include 2 ATP 1000 and 2 Grand Slam titles. The 23-year-old Italian has been in great form and has followed this in the ongoing China Open where he has made it to the quarter finals and has kept his title defense alive. However, there has been some sad news as the World Anti Doping Association (WADA) has appealed against Sinner once again bringing the stories and speculations of the Doping scandal back to life once again.

Sinner gives a reply to WADA
The doping stories have continued again and the question have already started to be asked by the journalist during the press conference. Sinner has even gone on to reply to WADA by giving a statement about the appeal saying, "Well, we cannot control everything, no? Obviously I'm very disappointed and also surprised of this appeal, to be honest, because we had three hearings. All three hearings came out very positively for me. You know, I was not expecting it."
This statement by Sinner has also got the fans expressing their thoughts on this issue on social media with some mixed responses on the 2-time Grand Slam winner. It is clear the everyone that this is not the news Sinner wanted to hear while defending his title in Beijing, but we hope he is happy that there are still some fans supporting him on this matter and will continue supporting him while the others will attack him.
