The World Anti-Doping Association (WADA) made an official appeal to the Court of Arbitration of Sports which has brought Jannik Sinner's doping case back to life. Trouble brewing for the World number 1 once again as this issue has been come to life by the organization affecting his budding future in the world of tennis right now.

There is no doubt that Jannik Sinner has been the best player this season and has enjoyed a lot of success in the sport and is enjoying his peak season where he has also gone on to become the World number 1 as well. However, it has not been a really sweet journey for him as the Italian sensation was caught in a doping scandal as well where there was Clostebol found in his bloodstream. However, things seemed to have died down as the court let him go on the tribunal of no fault or negligence, and Sinner was allowed to play and continue his dominance this season as well.

WADA appeal opens the deep wounds of the scandal

We all might have thought that there was no problem whatsoever with this controversy, but it turns out that the people of WADA had other ideas. The organization has gone on to appeal to the court on this matter and is seeking an ineligibility between 1 to 2 years regarding this case. The WADA appeal has been issued which states, "It is WADA’s view that the finding of ‘no fault or negligence’ was not correct under the applicable rules. WADA is seeking a period of ineligibility of between one and two years. WADA is not seeking a disqualification of any results, save that which has already been imposed by the tribunal of first instance.”

This issue has come to life once again and it turns out this controversy has still not been put to rest as yet. We hope that this case goes in favor of Sinner and he continues his great performances this season and maintains the same dominance he has been having all season and will continue playing some great tennis in the China Open as well.
