Former tennis star Juan Martin del Potro has affirmed that legendary player Novak Djokovic will be at the epitome of the level as long as the Serbian ace is playing. The Argentinian has showcased his faith that the tennis stalwart can add Slam tallies to his name.
Notably, Djokovic holds the all-time men's Grand Slam titles record, having 24 major titles to his name, with his most recent coming at the US Open back in 2023. The 37-year-old legend has 10 Australian titles, seven Wimbledon titles, four US Open titles, and three French Open titles to his name.
He came very close to winning his 25th Grand Slam title at Wimbledon 2024 but lost the final game against eventual champion Carlos Alcaraz. In addition, he has ended his journey as a semi-finalist in the last two editions of the Australian Open.

In the same vein, former tennis star Juan Martin del Potro feels that the Serbian ace is giving his best. The legendary player affirmed that Djokovic possesses the potential to win more Grand Slam titles to his name, and he will be leaving no stone unturned in doing that.
“There is potential, but often talent is not enough. It takes work, discipline, and being healthy. Besides, Djokovic is still playing, and as long as he’s active, he’s the best. Winning a Grand Slam is something very personal for him, I believe. I believe he can win more Slams. In tennis terms, he is the best. He has a lot of experience," Juan Martin del Potro said.
The 36-year-old tennis legend feels that if Djokovic remains in good physical shape and keeps trying, he can achieve more success. The Argentine has recalled the Serbian ace's Paris Olympic 2024 gold medal match win.
"If he can be in good physical shape, he will keep trying and possibly succeed. It would be a great thing for the world of tennis if he manages to win again after some time, as he did in Paris with the gold medal," he added further.
