Novak Djokovic curses his favourite sport
Novak Djokovic arrived in Madrid, rejuvenated by the presence of his returning coach, Andy Murray. This comes after Murray's absence during Djokovic’s sole match at the Monte Carlo Masters, where he faced a first-round exit to Chile’s Alejandro Tabilo.
Andy Murray accompanying the Serbian Tennis star is a sign of his determination towards achieving his 100th career title. However, the 37-year-old showed visible signs of frustration during a recent practice session with Andy Murray. He was frustrated to the point that he cursed the sport he loves.
In a video that has surfaced on the internet, Djokovic is expressing his frustration during a practice session with Murray on the clay courts, where he can be heard muttering in Serbian.
"F*** this, F*** Tennis, F*** everything!" Djokovic muttered.
Novak Djokovic is set to go toe-to-toe against Matteo Arnaldi in the first round of the competition. The Italian has had a history of upsetting big names, and the Serbian will try his best not to fall victim when he takes the court against him.
Earlier, Novak Djokovic expressed his motivation to continue pursuing the sport and represent the veteran stars of the sport at the highest stage.
“I don’t have many expectations with the result, to be honest, but I’m very excited to play here. I like to play here because I feel the support of the people and a lot of positive energy. I hope to use this to play well,” he said.
“I’m still trying to stay there and represent the veterans, the previous generation. I hope that has a positive effect on the tournaments and on the tour," he added.
