Novak Djokovic is gearing up for Serbia’s Davis Cup Finals 2024 against Greece. This will be his first match since an early exit at the US Open last month. The 37-year-old clinched a gold medal for his country at the Paris Olympics earlier and will now look to win another title in the premier international team event.

Ahead of his encounter at the Aleksandar Nikolic Hall in Belgrade, the Serbian was spotted engaging in an intense training. However, it was his new hairstyle that drew more attention than his practice, which featured a series of backhands and forehands.

In a video that has gone viral on social media, the 24-time Grand Slam champion is seen sporting a new hairstyle for the new competition. Many fans were amused after seeing his new appearance, with some finding it similar to that of the veteran’s latest tough rival, Carlos Alcaraz.

Watch the viral video below:

"Novak called Carlos's barber," a fan said. "Better than that buckethead haircut he usually sports," another fan wrote.

"Same haircut as Alcaraz, what's up with these two," another wrote."Seasons over, he can stop milking that knee brace," a fan said.

"What the f*ck with that haircut xd. He never change his haircut in 18 years xd," a fan commented. "Novak moved to the younger category, up to 25 years old!” another user wrote.

Sam Querrey picks Roger Federer ahead of Djokovic, Rafael Nadal as the best US Open player

Novak Djokovic suffered a shock 4-6, 4-6, 6-2, 4-6 Round 3 defeat to Australia's Alexei Popyrin at the US Open 2024. As the four-time champion failed to defend his title, former American tennis player Sam Querrey said that Roger Federer’s legacy is way beyond Djokovic and Rafael Nadal at the US Open.

"I gotta go Roger… [his] night matches were always just iconic," Querrey said.

"Federer's legacy is like way beyond Novak and Rafa at the US Open. He always played at night, the crowd loved him. He’s got like the iconic tweener shot against Novak," he added.
