Tennis sensations Elena Rybakina and Goran Ivanisevic will not be moving forward with their collaboration after two tour-level events together. Ivanisevic confirmed the test phase had ended on his Instagram story on January 21 with a brief message. This outcome seems not shocking, given what has transpired in the lead-up to the 2025 Australian Open.
Rybakina has already revealed that she is bringing his former coach, Stefan Vukov, as a team member this time, a move that has caught Ivanisevic by surprise. It's worth mentioning that Vukov has travelled to Australia but is barred from credentialing while under a provisional WTA suspension amid the ongoing suspension for breaching the Code of Conduct.

Vukov and Rybakina have parted ways ahead of the 2024 US Open, where the 26-year-old ultimately went on to withdraw from the showpiece event ahead of her second-round game due to grave injuries. Under Goran, the Kazakh star went 6-2 across the United Cup and made it to the fourth round of the Australian Open 2025.
Meanwhile, it's worth mentioning that Elena Rybakina has recently opened up about her coaching staff and given an update on her injury as well after losing to Madison Keys on January 20.

Rybakina was asked if not having Vukov in her box affected her performance & if she'll continue working with Goran:

"It didn't affect the way I played today or any of the results... We will definitely talk how the next schedule is going to look like.” pic.twitter.com/2Hfxa8weDW
“Well dedefinitely—as said before, this is not the situation I want to be in or someone wants to be in. Of course, I want to have who I want in the box, but I couldn’t change it. At the end of the day, I just tried to focus on my matches, and I spoke with him. I also have Goran, so it didn’t affect the way I played today or any of the result, I think,” Elena Rybakina said in her post-match press conference.
