The Geneva Open is now down to 4 players who will be competing for the title just before the Roland Garros which is just two days away. This will be another tournament to look forward to considering it has one of the highest draws in the ATP 250 tournament we have ever seen. Many popular players have featured in this contest and have given some great performances.

The player, the people were waiting to see is the current world number 1 Novak Djokovic who is playing this semi-final encounter with a Czech player, Tomas Machac. Machac had surprised everyone in the tournament where he has beaten a higher seeded player in Jack Draper and will be playing against one of the best in this upcoming game which will test him to the limits. Though Djokovic will be the favourite in this tournament Machac could also be another surprise for the Serbian as he has won over some big players in the past.

Djokovic to be aware

We know that Djokovic has had one of his best performances right now where he has been dominant throughout this tournament. He is yet to lose a set in this tournament. However, this is still not a game he can take for granted since Machac has been known to cause a lot of upsets in the past. Even the last time these two faced each other Machac had made the 24-time grand slam champion struggle for a win in Dubai last year.

Though Djokovic is still a favourite in this matchup, he will be aware of what Machac is capable of not only due to the previous encounter they have had but also looking at his form in the current tournament and season. This is another thrilling encounter that we might witness in one of the last tournaments of the ATP clay season.
