Tennis star Alexei Popyrin got engaged to his long-time girlfriend, Amy Pederick, in November 2024, and he recently shared that heartwarming moment with his fans through a post on Instagram. In the first picture, the 25-year-old tennis star was seen making the romantic beachside proposal by sitting on one knee, and Pederick looked completely surprised in that image.
In the other one, the duo was spotted sharing an adorable kiss with each other, and it was followed by a cute selfie where Amy Pederick was seen flaunting her ring. However, Popyrin recently opened up about how difficult it was for him to witness that blissful moment in his life.
The star player has recently opened up about his struggle to find the ring for the proposal. Notably, the Sydney-born star has been dating Amy since 2019. However, they have known each other since their school days in Dubai.
The 25-year-old tennis star previously revealed that they went to the same class together in Dubai. In addition, they were just eight years old, and since then they have kept in touch with each other.

“First off, we’ll start with the ring. She travels with me everywhere. So for me to pop out and just get a ring for her is really difficult. So I had to find a week where she wasn’t with me, and the only week where she wasn’t with me was the week of the Davis Cup. And we had about a week in London where we were training. Popped out a few times to try to find some rings. I found a ring that I really wanted to get. Had it shipped to Spain, where we were playing Davis Cup, and it got stuck at customs," Alexei Popyrin said in a video.
