The Paris Masters get their first taste of drama as World number 5 Daniil Medvedev tosses his racquet in the air and fails to catch it. The Russian number one experiences another embarrassing moment this season which the people will not let him forget at all.
The season for Daniil Medvedev has gone from bad to worse as he has failed to get through to the round of 16 of the Paris Masters this season. Medvedev was playing against young Australian sensation Alexei Poppyrin and went on to face a disappointing loss against him. This was a great 3-set battle where Medvedev came up short losing the last set in a grueling tiebreaker against the World number 24 which also ends his campaign in the last ATP 1000 tournament of the season.

Medvedev's embarrassing racquet drop
There is no doubt that this loss would be very disappointing for Medvedev, but that is not the only embarrassing moment he will want to forget from the match. Medvedev in between points was seen tossing up his racquet as high as he could, however, he completely failed to catch it at all as it was coming down. This was one of the most hilarious moments in the match. It was the reaction in the end that stole the show where Medvedev took evasive action hoping that there would be no further damage done.

Though this has not been a great season for Medvedev, this moment will continue to make him a viral sensation with how he has failed miserably. The failed catch describes how his season has been so far and he will be hoping that he can make a big comeback in the upcoming ATP finals in Turin which will be another great opportunity for him to prove himself as a top-ranked star.
