The US Open main draw matches have begun and we all are looking forward to the players who are most likely to give us some great matches this season. The time has arrived when we will see all the top players in the World compete for Grand Slam glory in this tournament. After all, this is also the last chance for some of the players to win a major title this season.
One of the players who has impressed us this season is the Croatian player Donna Vekic. The 28-year-old surprised everyone by getting to the semi-finals of Wimbledon and hit a career-high as she went on to win a silver medal in the Paris Olympics. She started her US Open campaign this season in great fashion as well where her first-round game ended in a straight victory against Kimberly Birrell. This was a great way to start the tournament which is considered one of the biggest ones this season.

There is no doubt Donna showcased some brilliant tennis in her first match of the US Open 2024 and it is safe to say that we all would like her to continue the same form in the upcoming games as well. However it was not only her game that was shining on the day, but her kit as well. Vekic was wearing a beautiful diamond necklace on her first day which was looking absolutely gorgeous.
Though we have seen a lot of tennis stars wear a lot of chains and items during their match this is one of the rare occasions where we see someone wear some expensive jewellery. This is one of the most unique gears that we have ever seen and it is safe to say that Vekic was shining throughout the game and looked as flawless as the diamond she was wearing.
