Former World number 13 and 2022 Wimbledon finalist has a one-word reply for Jon Wertheim for his terrible comments on Barbora Krejcikova. The Australian has a one-word reply for the journalist which starts a war between the two where the past mistakes also come to life during this ongoing argument.

The Tennis world was unhappy with one of the most respectable sports journalists Jon Wertheim for the comments he made on Wimbledon champion Barbora Krejcikova making fun of her appearance. Though Wertheim did end up apologizing for his remarks, the Tennis Channel still made sure that he stayed off the air. This was an unfortunate incident that has gone on to ruin the credibility of Wertheim who has been known to give some vital insights within the sporting world.

Kyrgios reply starts a war

There is no doubt that this was one of the current controversial moments in the game and the one person who cannot stay away from controversy is none other than Nick Kyrgios. The 2022 Wimbledon finalist had a one-word reply to Wertheim's comments saying, "Embarrassing". However, This comes as a shock since Kyrgios has made some misogynistic statements in the past as well and the latest one includes his comments on Anna Kalinskaya this year itself.

This has started a war between the two since Wertheim was also the first few people to criticize his comments on Anna. Following Nick's response Wertheim has said, "Nick Kyrgios once made a misogynistic, wildly inappropriate comment about a WTA player, drew the anger of her ATP player boyfriend, his coach, and much of the locker room… but didn’t face real consequence, dismissed, as it was, as youthful indiscretion. That was 2015. He’s 29 now.” There is no doubt that this is another controversial featuring Kyrgios.
