'I also know he stepped in s***'- Andy Roddick discusses about his colleague's controversial statement on Air

Former World number 1 and Tennis pundit Andy Roddick discusses the situation his Podcast co-host Jon Wertheim has gotten into after his viral comments on air. They discuss the situation where Wertheim openly ridicules Wimbledon winner Barbora Krejcikova on air commenting about her appearance which led to a lot of problems he had to face.

The Tennis World went insane when popular Sports Analyst and journalist Jon Wertheim made many disrespectful comments about Wimbledon winner Barbora Krejcikova while he was on air. This also upsets the World number 10 and 2-time Grand Slam winner who straight away went on social media and expressed her views on these comments which upset a lot of people in the sport. This was a sad look for Wertheim as well who is regarded as one of the most respected journalists.

Wertheim and Roddick discuss the situation.

The situation did not make Wertheim a famous guy on air as he also went on to apologize for his mistakes on social media expressing a lot of regret for his actions. That was not all but he also discussed the situation with co-host and former World number 1 Andy Roddick as well where even the former US Open champion admitted that his colleague had stepped in hot water saying, "Our good friend, my co-host, my partner-in-crime Jon Wertheim said something on a hot mic. No one was aware they were on a hot mic. I know him as a person. I also know he stepped in s***. I said we have to come on and acknowledge it, even when it’s not comfortable.” Wertheim was without a doubt full of regret during the conversation and was unhappy about what he did.

Though we all know that what Wertheim said about Krejcikova will not be forgotten at all, hearing these statements from him it seems like he regrets his actions of what he has done on Air. Though the people will still take some time to forgive him, at least he is trying to solve the situation rather than escalate it.
