Tennis sensation Holger Rune has been making bold headlines with his performance in the ATP Tour. The Denmark star has defeated four-time Grand Slam winner Carlos Alcaraz in the Barcelona Open 2025 final to win the title. In addition, Rune has also stormed to the finals of Indian Wells. Despite his hectic schedule and blockbuster performance, the 22-year-old star has found time to watch his rival's new documentary, Carlos Alcaraz: My Way.
The star player was seen sharing his thoughts on the recently released documentary. The Danish star feels that the documentary is the best, and fans should watch it, as they will be provided with some glimpses of behind-the-scenes. Rune was seen teasing his junior rival by calling himself a serious one as compared to the Spaniard.
Notably, Rune's remark showcases the two ATP players' shared friendship and mutual respect beyond the court rivalry. The fans were ecstatic and burst into laughter after Rune's telling remark on the Alcaraz documentary.
“I think it’s good. I think it’s nice for tennis fans, and—I said basically the same thing after the Netflix thing I did with the rest of the players—I think it’s great for the tennis fans to see more of what’s behind the scenes. I don’t want to say anything controversial, but I might have been a little bit more serious than him in juniors. He was an amazing player and, of course, Spanish people live differently than Danish people,” teased Rune.
