Medvedev won an easy first set and took things easy going forward. However, the Thai star flipped the script in the second set, where he won 6-4 and denied the Russian player's second and straight win in the opening thriller.

Notably, after losing the second set, Medvedev was left flabbergasted as he failed to find his proper form. Following the same, the Thai star further took the lead in the third set. This is what actually prompted Medvedev to have an emotional outburst during the game.

The Russian player was spotted hitting the net with his racquet, breaking it in the process. In addition, the 28-year-old also destroyed the camera on the net. The video of his act during the showdown went viral on social media.
