Novak Djokovic aims to win his record-breaking 25th Grand Slam title
Tennis star Novak Djokovic has been one of the most successful players in the history of the Australian Open, having won 10 titles at Melbourne Park, and now aims to win his 11th title here. The 37-year-old tennis legend is hoping to win his record-breaking 25th Grand Slam title as well.
Notably, Djokovic was one of the players who had a horrendous season in 2024 due to the emergence of stalwarts like Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz. However, the Serbian-born star managed to win the gold medal in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
He had the decent start of the 2025 year having made it to the quarterfinals of the recently concluded Brisbane International 2025 before American star Rielly Opelka defeated him. In addition, he was knocked out of the doubles game as well with his partner Nick Kyrgios.
Earlier, Novak Djokovic overcame a wobble and successfully made it to the third round of the 2025 Australian Open on January 15, Wednesday. The Serbian ace defeated Jamie Faria 6-1, 6-7, 6-3, 6-2 in the second round of the men's singles event before heading to the fourth round.
