Tennis star Novak Djokovic overcame a wobble and successfully made it to the third round of the 2025 Australian Open on January 15, Wednesday. The Serbian ace defeated Jamie Faria 6-1, 6-7, 6-3, 6-2 in the second round of the men's singles event and made it to the next round.
The 37-year-old had the stellar start to the game, having won the first set, but the 21-year-old Faria staged his comeback in the next set of the game to avoid his straight sets win. Following that, Djokovic showcased his beast form and went on to win the third and fourth sets of the game to topple the Portuguese tennis star.
The Serbian legend hopes to win his 11th Melbourne title in this showpiece event as well as bids for his 25th Grand Slam title.
