In the humid and hot weather in Melbourne City, Nick Kyrgios arrived for his Australian Open press conference in an overcoat dress rather than an Aussie summer dress. The 29-year-old tennis star slapped away a question about world number one Jannik Sinner, back in his good teammate Novak Djokovic, and spoke about his form and hopes for his Australian teammates.

The Canberra-born star was ecstatic ahead of the game as he was gearing up to make his presence in the first round of the 2025 Australian Open on January 13. The 29-year-old tennis star also talked about his fitness concerns ahead of the game.
“I mean, we watch sports because we want personalities. Throughout my career, it hasn’t always been good, but it’s added a lot of excitement to the game. I think it’s important. There’s so many good players on the tour now. I think there are many contrasting personalities. I think it’s healthy that I’m back and I’m playing. (It) doesn’t really weigh on me, though. I’ve always been someone that’s played my brand of tennis, and I guess my personality, I haven’t changed since I was 10-years-old. Anyone that knows me knows that I’ve been just how I am now."
