The 30-year-old tennis star found her best level when it was needed the most. After witnessing her opponent impose her tennis in the first set of their encounter at the first Grand Slam of the year, the Ukraine-born star gritted her teeth, passed incredible shots, and improved her serve before making some pragmatic adjustments, allowing her to win the second set of the game.
Following that, Svitolina flew across the court amidst some physical discomfort in the game. The final result was in the favor of Gael Monfils's wife, who will be facing now Veronika Kudermetova in the last 16 round.
