What to expect in the Saudi nation?

The WTA finals have been held for over 5 decades now and this will be the first time the tournament will be held in Riyadh. The players have already reached the venues and are ready to play this tournament amongst the 8 best players of the season. The groups have already been announced as well and it will all start with a round-robin event among the four players in each group. The purple group will feature Aryna Sabalenka as the top player while the orange group will have Polish superstar Iga Swiatek, who will also be battling to end the year as the World number 1 as well.

There is no doubt that these two players will be one of the biggest favourites seeing that they have had a brilliant season, however, we can still not count out the other stars in each group as well. The players in Sabalenka's group will be Italian prodigy Jasmine Paolini, Kazakhstani rival Elena Rybakina, and Olympic Gold medalist Qinwen Zheng while Iga Swiatek's group will also feature top American players Coco Gauff and Jessica Pegula and Wimbledon champion Barbora Krejcikova. Overall we are in for some great battles in Riyadh.
