The Women's Tennis Association(WTA) has been growing rapidly each season. The number of talented and world-class players that have been included has been a great story in the tennis world. The competition among the players has been something to admire for every fan watching the game. That is the reason that everyone is excited to see who finally wins the prestigious WTA finals.
The WTA finals have been one of the most iconic tournaments to look forward to. This is where the WTA champions are finally made after a season. However, this time around will be different as the tournament will be moving to a new venue. For the next two seasons, the WTA championship will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for the first time. Along with this, the prize money of the players has gone up with the winner getting a prize money of $15.25 million. This is the most money ever given to a WTA champion.
This is a great change in the WTA season that will give women's tennis a massive boost in the future. It will also be interesting to see how the atmosphere at Riyadh will be as they are hosting the tournament for the first time. High expectations are going into this tournament.
