Neeraj Chopra got a royal reception on his return to India. The star athlete was in the Sports University of Haryana in Sonipat's Raj and was welcomed by the police with a horse parade. The fans and students showed up and welcomed their star. Neeraj later spoke to the media and spoke about a lot of things including getting better as a contingent at the Olympics.

Neeraj Chopra showed up in a car in a formal dress and the fans were waiting to see him. He was welcomed by the police and four men who delivered a horse parade. There were chants of "Neeraj" in the arena and the star athlete acknowledged them. He shook hands with the fans and waved at the crowd.

Neeraj won the Silver medal at the Paris Olympics 2024 in his event and was not too happy with his performance. Pakistan's Arshad Nadeem stole the show with his massive throw of 92.97 meters to set a new Olympic record in the Men's Javelin Throw.

World Championship defense, Neeraj Chopra's upcoming goal

Neeraj met some of the top leaders and personalities who showed up to meet him. He then spoke to the media who had some questions for him. Neeraj felt happy to be back in India and speak with the members of the university regarding various topics. He asserted the need to increase the number of medals.

Neeraj hoped to speak with the officials to find a way to get the best from the athletes and improve the medal tally in the upcoming years at the Olympics. The reporter asked Neeraj about his hand injury. The star thrower claimed he was doing fine and added that there wasn't anything to worry about.

Chopra said since the season had ended, he had all the time in the world to recover from the injury. Neeraj was asked about his future goals and focus. The Javelin thrower hoped to prepare well and defend the gold medal at the World Championship next year and do well at the CWG and Asiads in 2026.
