Many players like Sukhjeet Singh, Amit Rohidas, Nilakanta Sharma, Hardik Singh, and others went for a good price. Team Gonasika made some big purchases right in the starting phase of the auction.

Likewise, they also went for Mandeep Singh and ended up getting him. Given his name came a bit early in the auction, Team Gonasika probably got him at a price lower than one would have expected. They got him for a price of INR 25 lakhs. The star player was predicted to get a higher price by experts.

Both Mandeep and Manpreet were a part of the Indian team that won the Hockey Bronze medal in the Tokyo and Paris Olympics. Both of them played a key role in the midfield. It was a great effort from Team Gonasika to buy two of the most experienced Indian players.

Manpreet was the Indian skipper in Tokyo. He led India to a historic Bronze medal, which was their first at the Olympics in over 41 years. There is a chance of him leading Team Gonasika in the tournament. The fans were happy with the purchases made by Team Gonasika so far in the auctions.
