Will Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat get silver medal after her disqualification at Paris Olympics 2024?

The outcome of Vinesh Phogat's appeal to get a Silver medal by CAS is likely to be out by the end of the Paris Olympics 2024. On her way to the final, Vinesh beat an incredible wrestler like Yui Susaki who had never lost a bout at the international level till that point. Despite her massive efforts, Phogat was disqualified before the final as her weight proved to be 100 grams more than intended. The statement from CAS claimed that the final decision on the appeal could only be given by the sole arbitrator. 

"The sole arbitrator's decision is expected to be issued before the end of the Olympic Games," claimed the statement from CAS. Dr Annabelle Bennett will be reviewing the appeal before making a decision. The fans are waiting to hear the result as soon as possible. For the closing ceremony, India has chosen Manu Bhaker and PR Sreejesh as the joint flagbearers.
