Swerve Strickland (Source: X)
To provide an update on former AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland, Prince Nana made her way to Arthur Ashe Stadium for AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam. After his brutal altercation with "Hangman" Adam Page at AEW All Out, Strickland has been recovering from his wounds away from the camera. However, it seems like Grand Slam only served as a tease for his next opponent. MVP cut short his remarks to give a mysterious message that appears to confirm that The Hurt Syndicate, formerly known as WWE's Hurt Business, is headed to AEW.
Of course, Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley are also members of that gang. The contracts of Benjamin, MVP, and Lashley ended last month, and Benjamin was the first of the three to leave WWE in the previous year. Soon after the trio hinted at their reunion, a trademark application was made, and MVP has since been well-known on the independent circuit. Though at one point there were intentions to bring Benjamin in, that never happened.

Both Benjamin and Lashley have the potential to be in the main event
Although Lashley hasn't spoken much about his future in wrestling, he has made it obvious that he has unresolved business. According to a recent story, the three have discussed a possible debut for the stable with AEW, and the moment appears right. Once a supposed massive new broadcast agreement is signed, the corporation will be free to grow into markets where they were previously restricted.
