Penelope Ford licked Anna Jay's cheek during their match on AEW Dynamite. The segment gathered mixed opinions from the fans. Anna picked up a win after overcoming the challenge of Ford. Following the match, Mercedes Mone threw herself into a feud with Jay. Mone and Anna will be taking on each other for the TBS Championship in the upcoming weeks.
Anna and Ford delivered a good match. Penelope was waiting for an opportunity to face Jay and prove herself capable of beating some of the best wrestlers on the roster. Both the stars gave good performances and entertained the fans. One of the sequences of the match was Ford licking Jay's cheek in order to distract her.

Ford went for the flipping punch and was successful in it. Soon after that, she licked Anna's cheek and proceeded to deliver a cutter. Anna Jay did not give up and fought her way back into the match. In the end, she claimed a win by pinning Ford clean. The result did not go well with the fans.
Anna Jay to face Mercedes Mone for the TBS Championship
Anna celebrated her win and faced something she did not expect. The music of Mercedes Mone hit and Jay had a new challenger soon. Given how good Jay has been in the last few weeks, Mone found her to be a worthy opponent. It meant a new feud for Anna who has given great performances against Mariah May.
Jay has been at her best all the year. She had some great matches in Stardom and made her return to AEW. She gained a lot of confidence and used it to her advantage. Anna had a good feud with May and gave her everything in it. Their match at WrestleDream was brilliant.
But she will have a new focus in the upcoming few weeks. As May is after Mina Shirakawa, Jay will have the assignment of facing Mone. While she would be going after a title of a slightly lower value, she could well become the new TBS Champion which would mean the end of a long title reign.
