WATCH: Eddy Thorpe qualifies for Iron Survivor Challenge; gets attacked backstage

After a fierce battle, each competitor used their signature moves in the closing seconds. Eddy Thorpe grabbed the opportunity for pinfall. After the match he was attacked by someone during the backstage.

WWE NXT's next premium live event, Deadline, is in just one week. It will include the Men's Iron Survivor Challenge as one of its main events. In the December 3rd edition of WWE NXT, four spots were already taken, so four competitors who lost their individual qualifying matches for the final spot faced off in a last-chance match. Eddy Thorpe, Lexis King, Cedric Alexander, and Axiom faced off in the high-stakes, deadly four-way match.

He was joined by his tag team teammate, Nathan Frazer, who had previously earned tickets. Furthermore, Wes Lee stood on the balcony level, Je'Von Evans sat among the NXT audience, and Ethan Page provided commentary, marking the presence of other Iron Survivor Challenge contenders. In an attempt to end the bout early with near falls, those NXT talents faced off against one another as the bell rung.

With a future NXT Championship bout on the line, every superstar was intensely focused on the task at hand. In the squared circle, four distinct in-ring action styles clashed during the bout. To earn a spot in the Iron Survivor Challenge, the participants demonstrated their best skills, executed amazing in-ring maneuvers, and gave it their all during the bout.

Eddy Thorpe was attacked after the match

After a fierce battle, each competitor used their signature moves in the closing seconds. Eddy Thorpe grabbed the opportunity when Axiom used his finisher to take down Lexis King. He pulled King out of the ring and covered him to for  the pinfall. After this victory, Thorpe will compete in the Men's Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline alongside Je'Von Evans, Wes Lee, Nathan Frazer, and Ethan Page to decide who will be the next top challenger for the NXT Championship.

Eddy Thorpe was seen on the ground in the locker room when the scene abruptly cut to that scene. We do not know who caused the harm, but he was removed. This week's program concluded on a major cliffhanger just before Deadline. However its not a serious injury.
