Adam Cole returned for the first time in months to save Daniel Garcia from MJF at WrestleDream 2024. After being out of action due to an ankle injury, Cole sent a message to the entire locker room saying he was up for the challenges. He particularly targeted MJF and claimed to beat the hell out of him in the upcoming weeks.
The segment started with the match between Shibata and Jack Perry. The Scapegoat successfully defended his title and was about to attack Shibata. Daniel Garcia came to the rescue of his former tag team friend. Perry went out of the ring as if to say he had nothing to do with Garcia.

That was when the music of MJF hit. The former International Champion returned for the first time in weeks and confronted Garcia. Perry who seemed to have disappeared through the stands, showed up out of nowhere and attacoed Garcia from beind. MJF had a message for Garcia and claimed that he found the ring in Buffalo.
'MJF, you are a dead man' - Adam Cole
As the star wrestler claimed he woould make his mate kiss the ring and wore it on his pinky finger to attack Garcia, the music of Adam Cole hit. The fans went crazy as they witnessed an unexpected return. MJF did not anticipate it either and was shocked for a reason.
MJF kept on seeing Adam approaching towards him. He mocked Adam and asked if he would run down to the arena to attack him. While MJF thought Cole was yet to recover, he had a surprise. Cole ran down to the ring and forced MJF to retreat. MJF stared at Adam before disappearing amongst the crowd.
Cole offered his support to Daniel Garcia and lifted him up. The fans chanted "Welcome Back" and gave a great reception to their hero. He then sent a message to the entire locker room. Cole claimed to be ready to take on each and everyone on the roster. He specially challenged MJF and claimed him to be a dead man.
