Swerve Strickland extended his contract with AEW just a few hours before his match with Bryan Danielson at AEW All In London 2024. All it took for Swerve was a contract paper from Tony Khan and a bit of approval from Shane. Swerve looked good and had no second thoughts as he signed the extension of his contract with AEW.
While the details of the new contract are not clear, it looks like Swerve will stay with AEW for the next few years. Earlier today, Tony went to Shane and Swerve to get the contract signed. Shane read about the contract and let Swerve know of it. The world champion was impressed by it and signed without second thoughts. Tony Khan signed it after Swerve.

The duo shook hands and confirmed the extension of the contract. Shane confirmed the contract by saying "Deal done". The contract was signed a few hours before the match. It could mean that Swerve might still remain the champion by the end of the night. Though the contract signing has little to nothing to do with the result of the match, he looked to be a happy man.

The match between Swerve and Bryan Danielson will be one of the most anticipated ones of the night. While Swerve's title is on the line, a much bigger stake is on the line from Bryan's end. If the star wrestler loses the match, he will be putting an end to his career. The former WWE Superstar might have put himself under a bit of pressure for this bout.
