WATCH: Mariah May attacks Toni Storm during red carpet premiere of Queen of the Ring

Mariah May launched a surprise attack on Toni Storm before their match at AEW Revolution. The Glamour May sent a message to her former mentor by hitting her head. As Toni was speaking about the essence of a movie on a Women's wrestler, May attacked her. Toni's former student claimed she made her former mentor a star.

Toni was asked her opinion on Queen of the Ring by the interviewer. The star wrestler spoke highly of the movie and praised the acting of the lead actress. Storm felt a movie on Women's Wrestling means so much for the current era. As she claimed it to be the start of something new, Mariah May launched a surprise attack on Storm.

Mariah hit Toni's head from the back and claimed the latter was nothing without her. Toni had no idea what had happened, and it seemed like she did not expect Mariah to show up the way she did. May claimed that she made Toni a star and sent a message ahead of their match at AEW Revolution.

The history between Toni Storm and Mariah May

The video footage of the segment was played on AEW Collision, and the fans booed May for her act. On AEW Revolution, Toni will defend her title against Mariah. It will be a Falls Count Anywhere Match, which deserves to headline the Main Event of the night.

May and Toni will face each other in their third major match in a PLE since August 2024. Their first faceoff was at AEW 'All In,' where Mariah beat Toni to claim her maiden world title win. Storm was out of action for a few months before she returned playing herself suffering from Amnesia.

After winning the Number 1 contender challenger to get a shot at May, Toni revealed that she hadn't forgotten anything and went after Mariah. At AEW Grand Slam, Toni faced Mariah in Australia and regained her world title. May did not give up and has been behind her former mentor in the hunt for the title.
