Jon Moxley was in an interview recently where he spoke about him not being in the business to entertain the fans. The world champion believed that there were a lot of ways to get entertained. He felt that his motive was to make the fans feel satisfied. His vision for AEW was not to entertain the fans but to make them remember the moments even when they were out of the arena.
"I'm not in the business of bringing you some dancing bears and jugglers and being like 'Hey come out and be entertained for an evening', there’s plenty of entertainment out there right if you just want to be entertained, these days you can be plenty entertained," claimed Jon Moxley in the statement.
He felt that people could easily get entertained these days in different ways. The star wrestler referred to watching a documentary as one of the ways of getting entertained. However, he wanted to give fans to experience of feeling worth the money after watching him in the show. He claimed to be in the business not for entertaining the fans.

The former WWE Superstar said that he wants the fans to be satisfied when they walk back to the car or while waiting for a cab or a bus. He wanted to fans feel their ticket worthy of paying for parking, babysitting, and other stuff.
"I'm not in the business of entertaining you, I want you to feel satisfaction when you walk back to your car or when waiting out for an Uber or the bus or walking home or whatever, these people that buy a ticket to AEW, and you pay for parking and you pay for a babysitter, take off work and you get someone to cover your shift, and you gotta work next morning," added Jon.
The star wrestler claimed that they as a company have entered into a Covenant. He claimed himself not to be a street performer. He claimed to owe something to the fans and claimed he had to deliver for them.
