Eddie Kingston spoke about his accomplishments in one of the recent interviews. The AEW Star went down memory lane and revisited his difficult times. Eddie claimed that when he reflects on himself in the hotel room after the show or a moment, he sometimes just breaks down. Kingston claimed that he sometimes feels to be undeserving of his own achievements.

The AEW star felt that it was one of the curses he had and felt it to be weird. Eddie claimed that before joining AEW he was selling Wrestling stuff in order to pay his mortgage bills. While Eddie believed that his life was going nowhere, Cody Rhodes came to his aid. Kingston claimed that it changed his life forever as he has been able to win the world from that point in time.

"Before AEW, I was selling my Wrestling stuff to be able to pay my mortgage. At the time I was like, 'That's it, it's over'. And then I talked to Cody (Rhodes) and then it just picked from there and it's been a world win," said Eddie in the interview. Kingston further added that when he thinks about it, he feels happy but is still insecure about certain things in his life.

'I don't like compliments and people telling me I'm an inspiration' - Eddie Kingston

"But like I said, when I do reflect, I'm happy but also you know, still doubt myself and still am insecure about certain things," added Kingston in the interview. Eddie claimed that he still doubts himself and wonders if he deserves the success he has gotten. On Dynamite last week, Eddie was attacked by the Elite. His injury meant the return of Darby Allin who joined the team of AEW to take on the Elite in the Double or Nothing.

The AEW star claimed that he doesn't like compliments from people as he feels it to be a bit weird. "I just kinda sit there and think if I really deserve this. I don't like compliments and people telling me I'm an inspiration. It's just weird because I'm just me," said Eddie in the interview.
