7-foot-3 Omos and 3-foot-3 Microman confronted each other at AAA TripleMania XXXIII. The WWE Superstar Omos won the Battle Royal on his return in a dominant way. The mighty wrestler had last showed up in a show at excursion in Japan with Pro Wrestling NOAH. The Nigerian seemed fine in his AAA appearance and had a dominant outing tossing everyone out of the ring.

In April 2025, it was announced that WWE would purchase the lucha libre Wrestling promotion, AAA. Since the Money in the Bank weekend, WWE has had several crossovers with AAA, including Chad Gable's match against Vikingo, Dirty Dom's debut and challenge against the AAA World Champion, Mr.Iguana and Psycho Clown's WWE SmackDown appearance, and so on.

TripleMania XXXIII, AAA's biggest event, took place on August 16, 2025. Many WWE and AAA Superstars showed up in the PLE. A major Battle Royal, Copa Bardahl match, took place, which featured WWE Superstars like Omos, Otis, and others, along with some of the top AAA Superstars, who entertained the fans.

During the Copa Bardahl match, Omos made his in-ring return and terrified the wrestlers in the ring. Microman was not intimidated by Omos at all and took the challenge on the Nigerain monster. He tried to have Omos' attention but failed to do so initially. As he looked down, he found Microman and kicked him at a go to disappoint the fans.

In the end, Omos had the last laugh against everyone in the match and claimed a dominant win. Joaquin Wilde, Cruz del Toro, and Otis also took part in the Copa Bardahl match. WWE's Dominik Mysterio, Dragon Lee, El Grande Americano, Natalya, Judgment Day stars, and Los Garza also featured in the event.
