Jack Perry and the Elite attacked Tony Khan in the latest episode of AEW Dynamite. During the PPV event of AEW earlier this week, Perry returned to AEW after a long break. In the AEW Dynasty, he was taken out of the arena by the security guards. In the latest episode of Dybamite, Tony greeted Perry as the two recalled of highs and lows they had in the company.
Jack Perry was sorry for everything he did with Tony and recalled the good old days. In the process, he asked the AEW President to reinstate him in the business. Khan was happy to accept the request of Perry and smilingly introduced him as the new member of AEW. Just when things seemed to be going smoothly, Perry gave a wild smile and punched Khan.

The fans were in shock as they witnessed something unexpected. From the backstage, the Young Bucks and Kazuchika Okada came to look at what happened with Tony. They initially acted as if they were in the ring to save Tony. Okada asked why Perry did that to Khan. Just when the AEW President seemed to recover from the shock, Okada gave a wild smile.
Jack Perry and the Elite give reasons behind their actions
The Young Bucks took out Khan which received booes from the fans. In the exclusive footage after the show went off-air, Elite and Jack gave their reasoning for the assault. Perry claimed that he attacked Tony as he cost his 8 months of career. The Young Bucks claimed that they were trying to get AEW back on track. Tony's father, Shahid Khan, was in the arena.
He came to see what happened with his son after the incident. The segment has received mixed opinions from the fans. While some felt that it could be a game-changer for AEW, others felt that it was just a copy of what WWE did with Vince McMahon and Stone Cold Steve Austin in the Attitude Era. Regardless, the segment on Dynamite has the attention of the fans.
