The first major PPV event of the calendar year 2024 is set to take place in AEW later this weekend. AEW Dynasty 2024 features some of the best matches that have excited the fans. Almost all the titles are on the line and a couple of non-title matches are scheduled to take place as well. Different kinds of matches are set to give the fans a unique viewing experience.

Some of the best pro wrestlers in the world will be in action at the event. Fans are hoping it to provide a good experience. The event is set to take place in St. Louis on the 21st of April. It is the first of the nine PPV events scheduled by AEW for the calendar year. The live streaming of the matches will be available on ThrillerTV and Bleacher Report.

Take a look at the scheduled matches and the potential winners -

Will Ospreay vs Bryan Danielson

It will be a match worth watching given the wrestlers involved. Bryan Danielson is regarded by many as the best in-ring performer in the modern days. Will Ospreay is not far behind and has provided some bangers of matches. He is regarded as the future of the company. The match is expected to be technical and Bryan might end up winning it providing enough buildup for Ospreay.

AEW Championship - Samoa Joe vs Swerve Strickland

Samoa Joe has been on fire as the AEW Champion. His title reign has had some good matches. Given the experience and the power of the Samoan Submission Mchine, it is never easy for anyone to claim an easy win. Swerve Strickland has made a name for himself by having great swagger. It would be a great match. Samoa might defend his title but Strickland might put up a brilliant show.

AEW Tag team Championship - Young Bucks (Nick Jackson and Matt Jackson) vs FTR (Fax Hardwood and Cash Wheeler) (Ladder match)

As Sting and Darby Allin won the title in the last match of the former's career, the title became vacant. In the qualifier matches for the tag team title, FTR and the Young Bucks put on good performances to claim wins. They have a tough challenge ahead of them given it's a ladder match. The controversial airing of the brawl between Jack Perry and CM Punk led to their storyline. The Young Bucks are likely to win the title.

AEW Women's World Championship - Timeless Toni Storm vs Thunder Rosa

The Timeless Toni Storm is innovative with her character. Her in-ring work has been laudable and has made her a good champion. On the other hand, we have Thunder Rosa who is competing for the women's world title for the first time in 2 years. In 2022, she had last won the title. It is a good opportunity for her to reclaim it. But Timeless Toni Storm is likely to emerge victorious.

AEW Continental Championship - Kazuchika Okada vs PAC (Continental Rules Match)

Kazuchika Okada has provided bangers of matches in NJPW. He was a great performer in Japan's Pro wrestling company where he set several records. His signing with AEW has been good for the emerging company. His opponent, PAC, is known to be one of the best wrestlers in the world currently. This might prove to be the best match of the night. Okada might retain his title given the form he is in.

AEW International Championship - Roderick Strong vs Kyle O'Reilly

Kyle O'Reilly and Roderick Strong, the former friends, will be competing for the International Championship. Roderick has been a good champion. The story between him and Kyle has been complex. However, when they collide with each other in the ring, one can expect nothing less than a good match given their rivalry and the story. While Roderick is strong as his name suggests, this might be Kyle's opportunity to win the title.

TBS Championship - Julia Hart vs Willow Nightingale (House Rules match)

Julia Hart has come of age in the last year or so. From playing the Cheerleader gimmick to getting rid of it, she has done well for herself, winning the TBS Championship in the process. She has been one of the dominant champions in the industry. On the other hand, Nightingale comes as an underdog, which releases pressure on her. The in-ring work of Willow is laudable and she could potentially win the House Rules match.

Mark Briscoe, Eddie Kingston, Adam Copeland vs House of Black (Buddy Matthews, Brody King, and Malakai Black)

It is one of the only two non-title matches scheduled to take place. House of Block will be taking on the trio of Eddie Kingston, Adam Copeland, and Mark Briscoe. Each of them has a different motive and coupled with each other has led to the match. Some of the best in-ring performers are in the match. While not many have high expectations from this match, it can be good. House of Black might lose it.
