Misano set to host next two rounds of Formula E-Prix 2024, all you need to know about schedules

Italian city Misano will be the hotspot for car racing lovers as the city is set to host the next two rounds of Formula E. This upcoming weekend Misano will host the sixth and seventh rounds of the prestigious race season which will offer multiple points for the drivers.

These points will be crucial as the racing season approaches further. For round 6, on 12th April the weekend will start with the first free practice. On April 13th there will be a second free practice along with a qualifying round. While on April 14th, the main race will take place. Notably, this is the second double-header of the ongoing season.

For the seventh round of the season third free practice will be held on 14th April. The qualifying round will take place on the same day while the final race will happen in the afternoon on the same day. Notably, racers will need to qualify for both rounds at the same time to make it to the final race.

What does the Misano city race track look like?

This will be the first-ever Formula E race at the Misano circuit as the brand looks to continue its season. The circuit measures 3.381 kilometres and features 14 turns, all going in a clockwise direction. The track starts with some infield twists at Turns 1, 2, 3, and 4 before merging back onto the main layout heading towards what will be Turn 5 and then onto a hairpin at Turn 7.

After a quick straight stretch, drivers will encounter a challenging left-right combo at Turns 8 and 9, followed by another burst of speed around the complex at the back of the circuit. Finally, they'll navigate through Turn 14 and onto the home straight to complete the lap.
