Neeraj Chopra posted a video of his practice session and drills ahead of the qualification round of the Javelin throw at the Paris Olympics 2024. The track and field athlete was seen working on his legs and trying to make it stronger by exercising. He was seen working around the barricades to strengthen his legs. Neeraj worked on his shoulders too.

For a Javelin thrower, shoulders and legs are the most important body parts. The shoulder will play a key role in the distance one can achieve. Legs will determine the speed at which one can run so that the momentum can help one to throw a longer distance. Neeraj Chopra worked on his throwing ahead of the qualification round.

The winner of the event in Tokyo will have a challenge to defend the gold medal and it is going to be difficult this time around. After his practice session, Neeraj rested for a bit and focused on his fitness. He had a bit of a drink and ran for a few minutes with the load on his back. There was a focus to work on his back and running.

When, where, and how to watch Neeraj Chopra and Kishore Jena at the Paris Olympics?

Indian athletes will be in action on the 11th day of the Paris Olympics 2024. From the Indian part, the focus will be on the Javelin throw duo of Neeraj and Kishore Jena. Both of them will be taking part in the qualification round. If the Indian duo manage to clock a distance of 85 meters or more in one of their throws, they will qualify for the final.

Jena is in the mix of the throwers in the first pool. He will be in action from 1:50 PM (IST). Neeraj will be taking part in the second pool. The star thrower will be in action from 3:20 PM (IST). The live telecast of the event will take place on Sports 18. The live streaming of the event will be available on Viacom Network and Jio Cinema.
