Real Madrid star footballer Toni Kross has officially announced his retirement after the end of UEFA Euro 2024. The German footballer has been one of the finest midfielders of all time, the vision of his passing-creating chances and scoring ability made him different from the others. He has been recalled for the German national side after his brilliant performance in club football. He has been a crucial member of the Los Blancos over the years. 

The 34-year-old central midfielder has decided to hang up his boots after the end of the season. With two games remaining one in the La Liga against Real Betis at home and UEFA Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund, at Wembley. The football icon will definitely start both games as a first-choice pick for Carlo Ancelotti. Toni Kroos: A Legend for Real Madrid 

Kroos's decision to retire has been a shocking one with the quality he possesses and the form he is in, over the current season. His contract ends in 2024 and he has decided not to renew and will leave the club as a legendary figure with the performance he provided over the years. For the club, he has won 4 UCL trophies and the same La Liga. He has played 463 games for the Spanish giants, scoring 28 goals and 98 assists. 

The midfielder played an amazing game against his former side Bayern Munich in the 1st leg of the semi-final delivering one defence-splitting ball towards Vinicius Junior who scored the opening goal in that game. He has sent an emotional note to his fans stating, "As I have always said: Real Madrid is and will be my last club. July 17th, 2014 - the day of my presentation at Real Madrid, the day that changed my life. My life as a footballer - but especially as a person. It was the start of a new chapter at the biggest club in the world."
