Real Madrid are in the final of the UEFA Champions League 2023/24 and will be up against Borussia Dortmund in the marquee club tournament at Wembley on 1st June. The Los Blancos despite having injury problems for most of the footballers performed really well in the domestic league winning La Liga for the 36th time and have yet again proved that they are the best side in Europe when it comes to competing in the UCL.

Ahead of the final La Liga game, they have suffered a setback with their star defensive midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni having picked up an injury and will miss the two remaining games. As per the report by MARCA, he will not be part of the squad for the all-important final clash, as have been struggling with the knock he got against Bayern Munich in the semi-final of the UCL have kept him out of action since early May.

He has been a key member of the squad and has played in the center back position well, as was the first choice ahead of Nacho Fernandez. The French footballer stepped up on the biggest of occasions for the side in the defence and paired up well with Antonio Rudiger. The 24-year-old footballer will look to be fit ahead of the Euro 2024 as he has been named in the squad announced by Didier Deschamps.

Big setback for France

As per the rumours, he has travelled to the United States to see a physician who verified the injury and provided a recovery time for the same. Previously Carlo Ancelotti confirmed that he would be available for the final, but now he will be missing the game. The club has a list of injuries with some of the players making a comeback.

For France and Deschamps it will be a big setback as earlier on the day Kingsley Coman who was rehabbing from an injury was seen having a problem with his knee and left the pitch, with both the footballers named in the squad, the replacement will be interesting to see.
