Liverpool's most creative defender, Trent Alexander Arnold, has been speculated to leave Anfield in the upcoming summer transfer window. The news emerged after a famous football transfer journalist revealed it on his social media. With that being said, the club needs to look for alternatives heading into the next season.
Trent Alexander Arnold is sure to leave with silverware, as the Reds lead the Premier League standings with a massive 15 points. Trent has long been linked to a move with Real Madrid but it only got stamped after Liverpool's round-of-16 exit in the UEFA Champions League.

Jeremy Frimpong set to replace Trent Alexander Arnold
Liverpool has commenced preliminary discussions regarding the potential signing of Bayer Leverkusen's Jeremie Frimpong. The Reds are anticipated to seek a new right-back this summer, following reports that Trent Alexander-Arnold is poised to depart for Real Madrid. Frimpong, who predominantly plays as a right wing-back or right winger, is being considered as a possible replacement for the England international.
As per reports from earlier this week, the Reds are one of several top teams keeping an eye on Frimpong, who has established himself as one of the premier players in his position globally. While talks are still in the early stages, sources from the Press Association indicate that Alexander-Arnold's anticipated departure is the reason behind everything.
Alexander-Arnold's anticipated departure will require Liverpool to seek a new right-back to complement Conor Bradley and Frimpong may be the piece to that puzzle.
Jeremy Frimpong signed for Bayer Leverkusen from Celtic in 2021. He has since made 121 appearances for the side and has netted 22 goals. He also represents the Netherlands as his national team.
