Arsenal need to exercise patience as they continue to manage Bukayo Saka's recovery. The talented England international has been sidelined before Christmas due to a right hamstring tear sustained during the team's 5-1 victory against Crystal Palace on December 21. Unfortunately, he is now expected to be out for an additional eight weeks. The situation adds to the problems of the Gunners, especially considering that two more attacking teammates have also been ruled out for the remainder of the season.

Arsenal's injury concerns rises

Gabriel Jesus sustained an ACL injury previous month, which is anticipated to keep him out of action for a major portion of 2025. After a productive training trip to Dubai, it has been confirmed that top scorer Kai Havertz will also be unavailable for the remainder of the season following a hamstring surgery. Additionally, Gabriel Martinelli will be out for around a month due to an injury he sustained against Newcastle.

Recent updates from the Sun suggest that Bukayo Saka may be out until mid-April, which is longer than what was initially expected. This leaves the manager Mikel Arteta with a headache situation as he prepares for Saturday's trip to Leicester, with only Leandro Trossard and Raheem Sterling as attackers.

Arsenal made a strategic decision not to sign a forward during the winter transfer window, despite their efforts in the market. Arteta confirmed earlier this month that the Gunners actively sought a new addition but ultimately faced disappointment in their pursuit.

"We haven't achieved it. So we are disappointed in that sense but as well we are very aware that we only want to bring certain kind of players. We have to be very disciplined with that as well and I think we were," Arteta said.
