Manchester City faces a tough situation after their recent performance against Crystal Palace ended in a 2-2 draw, following their victory over Nottingham Forest. Despite not securing the win, the team demonstrated resilience by equalizing twice and coming back from behind.

Pep Guardiola acknowledged the season to be a'season to suffer', reflecting the challenges the club faced and the improvements his squad needs to undergo as soon as possible.

The outcome positions City eight points adrift of Liverpool in the standings, with one additional game played compared to the league leaders. Given the current stage of the season, Guardiola faces significant challenges in contemplating a title race while grappling with injuries, inconsistency, and a noticeable lack of confidence within his squad.

Pep Guardiola's take on the current season

"We take a point. We fought incredible and came back twice; it's a season to suffer. We'll see what happens in the last month. We tried. Big compliment for the  opponent." Pep said.

"We cannot talk about the title race when we lose four games in a row and draw. We'll try to recover players. We'll see in the last month." Pep asserted.

"We have to do more games to be consistent. It's difficult in the situation we have. I'm really pleased for the players—they fought and did everything." Pep added.

Guardiola is in the process of rallying his team for Wednesday's crucial Champions League match against Juventus. After a disappointing league phase that currently places City 17th, they need to step up and secure victories to ensure a top-eight finish, especially following setbacks against Sporting CP and Feyenoord.
