Vinicius Junior scored a stunning goal after getting the ball on the halfway-line from Ferland Mendy. He dribbled past two players and took an effort from just outside the box to increase Real Madrid’s lead on the night. After scoring his second goal of the match, he went on to remove his jersey and celebrate using Cristiano Ronaldo’s iconic shirtless celebration.

Real Madrid performed some UEFA Champions League miracles once more, defeating Borussia Dortmund 5-2 to get their European season back on track after falling behind 2-0 at halftime. Although Vinicius Jr. was the Los Blancos' best player of the evening, scoring the second, fourth, and fifth goals of the night, Lucas Vazquez's crucial goal will be remembered as the highlight of an unforgettable evening.
The home team applied pressure after Nuri Sahin adopted a more conservative stance, and the front line purred. The opening goal was headed home by Antonio Rudiger after Kylian Mbappe's pass. In less than two minutes, Vinicius buried the second of the night for Real Madrid to equalize the score. After Lucas Vazquez scored the third goal, Vinicius added two more spectacular strikes to wrap up his hat-trick and secure yet another UEFA Champions League victory.

At one point, it appeared as though Real Madrid might lose the UEFA Champions League league stage for the second time in a row. After Borussia Dortmund had taken the lead at the half, they added to their lead a few minutes later. Donyell Malen opened the scoring inside the Santiago Bernabeu, and Jamie Bynoe-Gittens added a goal four minutes later to give the visitors a 2-0 lead.
Real Madrid, who had once again been quite terrible, desperately needed an immediate reaction. In the second half, Carlo Ancelotti required more from his team. With a spectacular hat-trick from Vinicius Junior, Madrid won 5-2 thanks to the Italian manager's effective halftime team talk.
