A massive brawl broke out late in Chelsea's draw against Nottingham Forest, sending the game into disarray. As tempers flared, even the managers got involved in the touchline altercation. It happened during the 89th minute at Stamford Bridge during a fierce Premier League match. With twelve minutes remaining, James Ward-Prowse had already been sent off for the visiting team.

That all began, though, in front of both dugouts when stoppage time drew near. When Marc Cucurella and Neco Williams attempted to bring the ball down as well, the Forest player shoved the Spaniard towards Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca.

The Italian was launched into the air, and chaos quickly erupted around him. Both sides' players joined in as the forcing and pushing went on. It was evident that Maresca and Nuno Espirito Santo, his opposite, were making an effort to diffuse the tension. Before the game resumed, referee Chris Kavanagh was eventually able to restore order amongst the players.

During the altercation, Nicolas Jackson even seemed to slap Nottingham Forest defender Morato. The former Villareal striker might have to pay a fine or at least miss a game for his acts if the FA pursues this matter further. But Maresca is unconcerned with his team's lack of discipline, stating following the game that, "I like the way the team is fighting - I don't see any problems with that."

The game finished in a 1-1 draw since neither team was able to find the winning goal despite the late brawl.Forest took the lead shortly into the second half via Chris Wood but Noni Madueke's equalised eight minutes later.

Chelsea is now four points below league leaders Liverpool and in fourth place in the standings going into the international break.  With just one loss in their first seven games, Nottingham Forest is ranked eighth.
