Neymar has recently addressed questions regarding his time in Saudi Arabia, showcasing that he continues to possess remarkable magician-like skills on the pitch. 

At 33 years old, he has achieved a major milestone by surpassing Pele as Brazil's all-time leading goalscorer. Although he made just seven appearances for Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal before his contract was concluded, his time in the Middle East was marred by injuries. He has embraced the opportunity to return to his roots at his boyhood club, Santos. An initial six-month contract has been established, allowing Neymar to regain his form and fitness. He marked his return with a goal from the penalty spot in a match against Agua Santa.

Neymar has now contributed to Santos’ back-to-back victories, including a 3-0 win over Noroeste. During that match, the South American superstar showcased his remarkable skills, delighting fans with his impressive footwork and ball control.

Speculations around Neymar's future 

There are ongoing speculations about Neymar's future, particularly regarding his desire to participate in the 2026 FIFA World Cup finals. Speculation suggests that he might have another opportunity to play in Europe, with a return to Barcelona being considered. 

Additionally, there's interest in the possibility of reuniting with former team-mates Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez at Inter Miami in MLS.

Neymar has amassed a total of 440 career goals across competitions. Unsurprisingly he is Brazil's top scorer and has netted 137 goals for Santos, 118 for Paris Saint Germain, 105 for Barcelona and one for Al-Hilal.
